I have devoted my life to continuous learning, but nothing has prepared me for the role of motherhood like motherhood itself. I quickly realized that as a mother, the demands are high, the thoughts are endless and the desire to provide the very best for my child and family is often at the forefront of my mind and heart. I quickly found myself tending to everyone else's needs and neglecting my own. Feeling overwhelmed by my evolving role as a mother, wife, professional, daughter, sister, cousin, niece (and every other role I play), I found myself desiring a space for mothers where moms (and moms to be) could come together to receive support in a holistic manner. From this place, Lioness Horizon has been birthed.
